Our Story

Mommy’s Sauce started the same way the best Caribbean food always does — at home.

As a young Guyanese woman coming from humble beginnings, Mommy learned early that good food was never about luxury. It was about family, culture, and making simple ingredients taste unforgettable.

In her kitchen, she began creating her signature habanero sauce to bring bold flavor to the foods Caribbean people know as “provision” — cassava, eddo, plantain, sweet potato, and other root-based staples that filled family tables across Guyana and the islands.

What started as a homemade sauce for everyday meals quickly became something everyone asked for.

Friends wanted bottles for cookups. Family carried it home after gatherings. One bottle always turned into another request.

Rooted in West Indian tradition and inspired by the flavors of Guyana and the Caribbean, these recipes were never originally made for store shelves.

They were made for family. For lime nights. For Sunday lunches. For BBQs, provisions, fried fish, bake, doubles, wings, tacos — and the kind of meals that bring people together.

So we kept making it the same way Mommy always did: With real peppers. Real ingredients. No shortcuts.

Today, Mommy’s Sauce brings Caribbean flavor beyond heat — blending bold spice, fresh ingredients, and the warmth of home into every bottle.

From our family kitchen to your table — welcome to Mommy’s Sauce.
